The theory persisted because it unified several of the most durable mythic elements in conspiracy culture: Atlantis, Aryan origin, Tibet, occult science, and lost superior technology. It also persisted because Nazism’s actual obsession with ancestry and racial antiquity provided fertile ground for maximal reinterpretation.
It has remained attractive to later esoteric and extremist circles because it offers both a cosmic past and a recoverable future.

The Aryan Atlantis is significant because it reveals how race ideology can expand into full civilizational mythology. It does not merely justify superiority in the present; it invents an origin myth deep enough to sanctify domination as historical restoration.
