- 11B-X-1371An unmarked DVD postmarked Warsaw reached a Swedish tech blogger in 2015. Hidden inside a two-minute film of a masked figure were White House coordinates, Latin, morse code and photographs of mutilated women — and for a fortnight it read as either a confession or a threat. Every element traced back to found material, and a man in Poland later claimed it as an art project.
- The White UN TrucksPhotographs of white UN-marked armoured vehicles on American highways and rail cars have circulated for decades as evidence of a foreign force being pre-positioned inside the United States. The 2016 Virginia convoy was traced to Alpine Armoring, a Virginia manufacturer shipping a UN order overseas. The structural objection is larger: the first principle the UN publishes for peacekeeping is consent of the parties, and no mission has ever been requested on American soil — though in 2015 a Texas governor did send the State Guard to watch the US Army.
- The 2014 Scottish Referendum CountScotland voted against independence on 18 September 2014 by 2,001,926 to 1,617,989 on an 84.6 per cent turnout. Within hours, video of ballots on counting tables was circulating as proof of substitution, and petitions for a re-run passed 80,000 signatures. The Yes campaign itself said the footage was being misread, and the Chief Counting Officer recorded that not one of the thousands of accredited observers had complained on the night — but the Electoral Commission went on to measure the highest level of fraud perception it had ever recorded.
- FrazzledripA claim that surfaced in April 2018 holding that a video recovered from Anthony Weiner's seized laptop showed Hillary Clinton and Huma Abedin assaulting a child.
- Finland Does Not ExistA Reddit comment in 2014 claimed Finland was invented by the Soviet Union and Japan to secure Baltic fishing rights. Its author has never believed it, which makes it one of the few conspiracy theories with a documented origin, a known motive and an admitted punchline.
- Did Andy Kaufman Fake His Death?A comedian who built a career on undisclosed hoaxes died of lung cancer at 35, having reportedly written about faking exactly that. In 2013 a woman claiming to be his daughter announced he was alive. She was an actor, and his brother walked it back within days.
- Project Anchor and the Seven-Second Gravity BlackoutBeginning in late 2024 on Instagram and TikTok, and building through 2025 and 2026, a claim spread that a suppressed NASA program called "Project Anchor" had calculated the exact moment Earth's gravity would fail — seven seconds on August 12, 2026, during a real total solar eclipse. Circulating versions described a leaked internal document, an alignment of the Sun, Moon and Earth producing gravitational interference, and projected casualties in the millions. No document matching the description appears in NASA's Technical Reports Server or public archives, and a NASA spokesperson stated that Earth will not lose gravity on that date. The eclipse itself is real and crosses Greenland, Iceland and northern Spain.
- The "2024 Total Eclipse" Simulation ResetA theory claiming that the April 8, 2024 total solar eclipse over North America was used as cover for a large-scale “patch” or reset in the sky’s rendering system. In this reading, eclipse confusion, viral imagery, and later reports of a “white sun” were interpreted as evidence that the visual environment had been recalibrated rather than merely observed.
- The "Lunar Hologram" RefreshA 2024–2026 resurgence of the older theory that the moon is not a physical celestial body in the ordinary sense but a projection, screen, or managed image. The refresh was driven by eclipse-season viral clips, alleged “surface glitches,” impact videos, atmospheric distortions, and renewed moon-hoax culture tied to high-profile lunar missions.
